The Chestnut children have had a wonderfully festive day playing party games and eating a delicious Christmas dinner with their friends. What a lovely way to end the term and celebrate all of their hard work!

Nativity service
This afternoon, the Chestnut children came together with children from Key Stage 2 to perform their Nativity service. We were blown away with their wonderful singing and acting- well done Chestnuts!
Buckfast Abbey
Recently, the Chestnut class had a wonderful day at Buckfast Abbey. The children had lots of fun learning about the Abbey and the Nativity story. They enjoyed a storytelling session followed by crafts and a self guided tour of the Abbey. The children particularly liked the stain glass windows and spent time creating their own. We were blown away by their amazing learning behaviours and how well their represented the school. Well done Chestnuts!
